A concussion is a brain injury that can occur after a hit to the head, face, neck or body. Symptoms may appear immediately or later.

Parachute Canada provides current concussion recognition and return-to-activity resources.
Urgent warning signs
Seek emergency care for worsening severe headache, repeated vomiting, seizure, increasing confusion, weakness, unusual drowsiness, neck pain or loss of consciousness. Do not return to sport the same day after a suspected concussion.
