Musculoskeletal Health

Back, joint and muscle problems are common. Staying active within safe limits, understanding symptoms and following an individualized plan can support recovery.

Back pain education

Most uncomplicated back pain improves with time and movement. Seek medical assessment for severe or worsening symptoms, trauma, fever, new weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or numbness in the saddle area.

Preparing for care

Note when symptoms began, activities that change them, any weakness or numbness, and treatments you have tried.
